The rollercoaster continues!
Woke early so court must have been on my mind – and Declan & I decided to brave breakfast. We were all geared up for court when there was a knock on the door – answered to Alfiya who said ‘ We do not have court today!’ Could not believe it.
What could we say? Everyone was so disappointed, disgruntled, not knowing what to believe anymore and we were left wondering are we going to be leaving on Friday after all??
The maroon van became titled ‘The Bus of Doom’ today. No words were spoken on the trip to the Baby Home today. Everyone was too disheartened. Bonding was going through the motions and I think this was the low of our trip. Think everyone was just wondering ‘If we only knew something definite’

On the up side it was Sasha’s first birthday today. Alfiya brought us to buy a cake and a big candle in a really nice deli at lunchtime. We decided to wait until all the others had finished bonding and then get Alfiya to translate for us. The babies were not allowed cake so I had brought in a few packets of baby biscuits for them. They were all lined up looking at us with the cake so I was so glad I had thought of the biscuits. It was really nice and we have video which will be precious for Sasha when he is older. Even remembered to bring a slice of cake out to Alexei, our driver.
Precious pictures!!!
Just before our afternoon visit we got the Grrreat news that we have court tomorrow at 11.30am. No maybe’s – just a definite – Nobody was going to ask the question ‘Are you sure?’ So, as of now we are going to bed tonight thinking that tomorrow we will become parents for the third time, first time to a son and will be one step closer to bringing him home… Please God!
